It always seems impossible to describe oneself in a paragraph. I could throw around adjectives, mention all the things I enjoy, or even tell a short history. Yet that wouldn’t give anyone a clear picture. I’d rather let my writing grow and become some entity of outpouring words that better shows what I am about.
Knitting and video gaming are equally difficult to describe. Simply put, one is pulling loops of yarn through other loops with two needles, the other is interacting with a program through interfaces. Both encompass so much more. When gaming and when knitting I hold something in my hand, wooden sticks, a plastic controller, but besides that visceral experience I have my eyes and ears engaged, I am alert, on-edge, yet relaxed, my right and left brain are both involved in the strategy and muscle memory required, and I am in a state of flow.
